Letasca is built on multi-dimensional inspiration, where many references find a meeting point - from architecture to geometric composition, travel to technology. There is a focus on continuous aesthetic and visual research. Unconventional clothing with refined linearity in design, made of diverse tech-fabrics and with a contemporary approach, is a key distinguishing feature.
The newest SS19 editorial showcases the above, while borrowing inspiration from young installation artist Dean Levin, who has showcased his work in galleries all over the world: Kohn Gallery LA, Marianne Boesky NY, Super Dakota Belgium and other cities like Madrid, London, Sydney and Miami.
Dean Levin’s work is influenced by his architectural background, while investigating into space and perception. The ideas conceptually utilize and physically inhabit a space, offering discrete moments of architectural deconstruction and reconfiguration.
Levin’s mirror diptychs, mirrored panels printed with enlarged hand-drawn grids paired with monochrome canvases are a direct exploration of contrary materials, contemporary lines and layering.
